One World Nursery School
The Bell One World Nursery School in Geneva offers a pre-school programme in English designed for children between the ages of 2 and 5. We offer either morning (8.45 - 11.45) or afternoon (13.30 - 16.30) sessions.
We aim to provide a positive, friendly environment where children can feel secure. Each child is welcomed as an individual and thus encouraged to develop their full potential at his or her own pace.
A balance of activities adapted to monthly themes ensures that the children are given opportunities to develop intellectual and social skills, speaking and listening skills and to practise gross and fine motor control. A carefully planned daily timetable ensures a balance of activities and enables children to become accustomed to a routine within a social group.
This includes:
- Language development through stories, songs and rhymes
- Recognition of colours, shapes, numbers and the alphabet
- Learning to listen to adults and other children
- Group work and individual task completion
- Music and movement
But the single most important aim of the BELL ONE WORLD NURSERY SCHOOL is that the children have fun, learning through play.
