  • English Teachers for Young Learners - 2022/2023 vacancies

    English Teachers for Young Learners

    Bell Switzerland is seeking dynamic professionals to join our academic team in Geneva to teach our students from 3 to 16 years old, in our Young Learners programme taking place Wednesdays and Saturdays in Geneva.

    With its historic headquarters based in Cambridge, the Bell Group is one of the world’s leading players in education, training learners of all ages. We have over 60 years’ experience delivering outstanding language and activity programmes and an unrivalled reputation in our field. In Geneva, Bell is offering a wide range of services with:

    • A Nursery, for children age 2 to 4
    • A Primary School, for children age 4 to 7
    • An extra-curricular English classes programme, Young Learners, age 3 to 18
    • An Adults and Professionals department, for students 18 and above, keen on learning one of 12 languages
    • A Corporate department, specialised in setting up corporate training
    • A Teacher Academy, to prepare individuals to teach students of all age.

    To make our Young Learner courses the success they are, Bell Switzerland needs committed, enthusiastic and capable staff.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills

    • A Native English speaker level
    • A recognised teaching qualification at the graduate or postgraduate levels, such as YL teaching certificate / CELTA / PGCE or Bachelors / Master of Education (candidates currently enrolled on such courses would also be considered.)
    • Experience of young learners teaching, students from 3 to 16 years old

  • German Teachers for Adult Learners - Swiss German required

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    If you are an experienced teacher of German as a foreign language and have a good command of a Swiss German variant, then why not join the brilliant team at Bell Switzerland? If you love teaching and have the ability to teach the language with patience and tact, we have to meet!
    Your main objective will be to create a conducive learning environment that will help your students achieve their learning goals. Through interesting and varied methods, you will teach them the important rules of reading, writing and speaking. You will monitor their progress by giving regular feedback, showing them a clear path to their goals and giving them your best.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    – Prepare content and activities for the classes you will be responsible for
    – Provide interesting homework and exercises
    – Identify students with special needs and create personalized plans
    – Assess progress through tests and assignments
    – Keep track of student attendance and grades
    – Research new methods in language teaching
    – Collaborate with the academic team and account managers to promote a good student experience

    REQUIREMENTS

    – Previous experience as a teacher of German as a foreign language
    – Proficiency in an Alemannic dialect spoken in Switzerland
    – Knowledge of various teaching methods
    – Excellent communication and organizational skills
    – Patient and resilient personality
    – Dedication to students and teaching
    – University education in the field of education, humanities or specific training in German language

  • Marketing Coordinator

    Bell Switzerland is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our Team in Geneva.
    Work Time: 40% i.e. 16 hours (2 full days or 1 full day and 2 half-days)
    Working Languages: French and English

    Bell Switzerland needs a committed, enthusiastic and capable Marketing Coordinator to ensure our company’s marketing efforts successfully achieve our immediate and long-term business goals.

    Role:

    • To develop advertising campaigns by scheduling promotional events, managing our social media and keeping track of what’s popular among consumers
    • To design and implement marketing campaigns
    • To set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
    • To ensure our company’s marketing efforts help us achieve our immediate and long-term business goals

    Main responsibilities:

    • Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior and suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness
    • Manage our social media presence and advertising
    • Manage our display advertising tools and email marketing
    • Produce promotional materials (print and digital) and collaborate with our design department in Cambridge when necessary
    • Track progress of our sales and success of our marketing campaigns
    • Organize promotional activities for new services or services to be promoted
    • Craft clear product marketing copy
