Nursery 1 (Bilingual)
Starting their learning journey.
Bring your child’s learning to life through play-based learning from as young as 2 years old. Our Nursery 1 (Bilingual) programme will complement your child’s learning at home, and help further develop their communication, language, personal, social, emotional and motor skills.
We will observe and recognise your child’s individuality, efforts and achievement so that we can ensure their continual growth based on their capabilities, learning style and interests. Our theme-based learning approach will also ensure we maximise opportunities to nurture their curiosity, explore ideas and make new discoveries.
Children in Nursery 1 (Bilingual) will learn in a bilingual environment – with English and French-speaking teachers – alternating the primary language of teaching every week.

Our approach
Our safe and supportive nursery environment is designed to complement your child’s development at home. Activities are set through planned, purposeful play through a vital mix of adult-led and child-initiated play. Though not in isolation, we will focus on the prime areas of your child’s development:

Giving you assurance of the quality and transferability of their learning, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum – a standard across early years settings in England – underpinned by our six core principles of The Bell Way.

Learning outcomes
Children attending Nursery 1 (Bilingual) can expect to achieve the following learning outcomes from their time at nursery:
