Bell Language Schools offers a preparation course for the German Goethe-Zertifikat exams.
These are official diplomas that attest to different levels of proficiency and mastery of the German language. They are issued by the Goethe-Institut.
These German examinations are based on a methodology that aims to maximise teaching and learning efficiency. They motivate learners of all ages and levels to improve their German and acquire practical skills for daily life. Each exam is aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale to help learners develop their listening, speaking and writing skills.

- Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1
It certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Goethe-Zertifikat A2
It requires elementary language skills and corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Goethe-Zertifikat B1
It certifies that candidates are independent users of the German language and corresponds to the third level (B1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Goethe-Zertifikat B2
It certifies that candidates have acquired advanced language skills and corresponds to the fourth level (B2) of the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Goethe-Zertifikat C1
It certifies that candidates have acquired advanced language skills and corresponds to the fifth level (C1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Goethe-Zertifikat C2: Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom
It certifies that candidates have acquired extremely advanced language skills and corresponds to the sixth level (C2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The Goethe-Zertifikat exam contains two parts, a written part with three tasks: reading comprehension, oral comprehension and written expression and interaction; an oral part with an oral expression and oral interaction task. The duration varies depending on the level of the test.

That’s why Goethe-Zertifikat certifications are the perfect solution for you and your goals. Here are a few more reasons why:
- They are an official certification issued by the Goethe-Institut.
- The diplomas are recognised internationally and are accepted as proof of qualification by many employers and educational establishments.
- In Germany, they give access to universities, official language schools, business schools and positions in public administration.
- Goethe-Zertifikats A1 to C2 do not expire. However, many institutions and employers expect the certificate to be no more than two years old.

Getting ready
This course enables participants to prepare effectively by familiarising themselves with the format and expectations of the exam.
Numerous exercises by competence are proposed throughout this course to work on the technique of the exam and to practice with real mock exams.
The preparation sessions can be done over 8 weeks for a total of 44 hours. Alternatively, the preparation can be done in private courses.
The aim of our courses is to enable you to familiarise yourself with the procedure and expectations of the exam so that you are in the best possible condition to succeed when the time comes.
